Starting in June 2026, the Rigi Railways are preparing for the future with new fares and comprehensive infrastructure projects. These include a three-week complete closure in April 2027 for renovation work and the introduction of four modern articulated railcars by 2030. While day tickets will become more expensive, fares for journeys to populated areas will remain unchanged. These measures aim to modernize and simplify the fare system.
