The Rigi Kulturkreis concert offers a musical evening with two contrasting ensembles. Duo phoenix, featuring Christine Hogg on the transverse flute and David McVeigh on the guitar, presents a southern flair with works by Bartók and Piazzolla. Between the performances, the Rigi Kulm Hotel invites guests to a complimentary aperitif. In the second part, violinist Heidi-Maria Makkonen and marimba player Manuel Leuenberger transport the audience to the north. The programme includes traditional Nordic melodies, pieces by Ole Bull and the contemporary composition L'Assillo. Admission to this special concert is free, and it is financed by a collection.
