A three-day interdisciplinary workshop for Master's/PhD students and postdoctoral researchers will take place at Rigi Kulm. The "Rigi Workshop 2027" aims to unlock the potential of natural history collections for research in ecology, evolution, and biodiversity. Participants will gain insights into innovative applications of collection data, including museomics and advanced imaging techniques, through exchanges with established researchers. Practical exercises will teach effective work with collections and how to address related challenges. The workshop offers a comprehensive perspective on natural history collections and their applications in the life sciences.
Cost: CHF 150 for a double room, or CHF 205 for a single room. The workshop language is English. The date will be late January or early February 2027.
