The Rigi Railways recorded a significant increase in passenger numbers in their anniversary year of 2025, transporting over 1.02 million guests. The Arth-Rigi Railway, in particular, saw a 16 percent increase, while the Kräbel-Rigi Scheidegg cable car even carried 17 percent more passengers. This success on the Rigi can be attributed to the 150th anniversary of the Arth-Rigi Railway, optimized arrival times at Rigi Kulm, and a new combined ticket offer with the Lake Zug Navigation Company. The "Queen of the Mountains" thus remains an extremely popular destination for day-trippers.
