On Wednesday, August 12, 2026, the "Shooting Stars 2026" event will take place on Rigi Kulm, offering visitors the chance to immerse themselves in the wonders of space. Accompanied by astronomer Erwin Peter, participants will be able to observe a meteor shower and a partial solar eclipse. The evening will also include an excellent dinner at the Rigi Kulm Hotel and fascinating presentations on the Northern Lights, solar eclipses, and the night sky. The event will be held regardless of the weather, with an adapted program in case of inclement weather, and costs CHF 99 per person.
