The legendary locomotive No. 7, one of the first locomotives on Mount Rigi, has been given a new, modern exhibition space at Rigi Kulm. The approximately 150-year-old cogwheel steam locomotive, which was restored to working order for the 150th anniversary of the Rigi Railway, can now be admired permanently. The 1.5 million Swiss franc joint project offers not only the historic locomotive but also a modern, AI-supported exhibition on the history of tourism on the Rigi. Visitors can also discover the stories of illustrious guests on the Rigi, such as Queen Victoria and Mark Twain.
